Father of the bride

February 28, 1949 - April 6, 2020

Terrance was a loving and devoted father. He knew when to be firm and when to lighten up. Mack's dad built the foundation for her to mature into who she is today. Words cannot describe the gratitude she holds for him. Terrance was always there for Mack whenever she needed him, whether it was answering her twenty calls a day about mundane questions like how long to microwave something, or all-night-long therapy sessions when she came home to visit from college. They had their differences over the years but nobody stood by Mack like her dad. Terrance made it known every day how thankful he was to have Mack as a daughter and how proud he was of her. His absence is felt every day, but even more so now as he will miss walking his youngest daughter down the aisle.

Brother of the bride

February 5, 1984 - September 5, 2022

Shaun had the biggest heart there is, in a side that often only Mack got to see. The nights spent blaring music and forgetting the world are sorely missed. Mack traveled to Florida for her 21st birthday to spend with Shaun and he made it a night she promptly forgot. The next morning she woke up confused on why she felt so awful after two drinks and a shot, to which Shaun responded, "Oh... baby you had so much more than that." From the stories he told her, it sounds like she had a great time. He had his moments, but Mack's love for him has never faltered. In the words of Shaun: "Don't sweat the petty things, pet the sweaty things."

Linda June Rider

Paternal grandmother of the groom

May 10, 1951 - November 11, 2023

Linda was a very forward kind of person. She wasn't afraid to tell you how she felt. If she didn't like you, you would be aware because she never spared anyone's feelings. When it came to her grandchildren though, she loved them unconditionally. Caleb found a love for cooking through his "Ma-Ma". Every time he would visit her she would have something new for him to try. Linda had become deaf at an early age. Being how she could not hear her grandchildren say "I love you" very well, she taught them to say it using sign language. She always said that when she died that she would be with their Pa-Pa as the first and brightest star in the night sky. Whenever Caleb is out at night, he still looks to see if they are there. Caleb loved Linda for her sheer goofiness and ability to make him smile even when he didn't want to. Linda is dearly missed.

Maternal grandmother of the groom

Maternal grandfather of the groom
September 15, 1937 - December 7, 2009

Memaw and Pap Pap met in Carmi in 1956. Memaw was a bank teller at White County Bank and Pap Pap was an officer in the Air Force. They were married on June 3, 1957.

Melba enjoyed reading, camping, gardening, cooking, and most of all, spending time with her kids and grandkids. She worked as an E.M.T. and a dispatcher for Norris City police and ambulance service. Pete was a police officer and Air Force veteran.

Caleb spent a lot of time at their house growing up, often inside with his Memaw instead of in the garage with Pap Pap. When he was little, Caleb often told his mom, Regina, that he wanted to run away to live with his Memaw because he liked spending time with her so much.
